What to play on a trip without internet
On a train, plane or short break, one clear puzzle can be more useful than searching for a signal. Pick a game for the time you have, not a task you must finish today.
For a quick break: 2048
Swipe to combine matching numbers. Keep some free cells for the next move. It is an easy way to get started without learning a long list of rules.
For a quieter journey: Sudoku or the 15 puzzle
In Sudoku, eliminate impossible numbers rather than guessing. In the 15 puzzle, build the top row first and protect the parts already solved. Start at an accessible level, not the hardest one.
Prepare before going offline
Road Games supports offline local games and tutorials. Online matches, sync, purchases and the first download of a network challenge require a connection.
- Install the app from RuStore and open it before your journey.
- Pick a game, read its short tutorial and check that it starts without a connection.
- You do not need to sign in to play locally. Progress stays on the device; do not delete the app’s data.
Contains ads and optional purchases. All games are temporarily open through December 31, 2026. Check current terms in the app.
